About Our Founder

Apostle Eric G. Zimmerman

Apostle Eric G. Zimmerman is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from South High School and attended Kent State University. At the age of 14, he was baptized and received the gift of the Holy Spirit. At 26 years old, he accepted his calling to teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In 1986, Apostle Zimmerman relocated to Washington, D.C., where he joined Grace Apostolic Church and remained a faithful member for twenty years.

In 2006, he joined Victorious Life of Faith in District Heights, Maryland, where he served under the leadership of Pastor Victor L. Furr.

In March 2013, Apostle Zimmerman responded to the divine call of the Holy Spirit by establishing True Foundation Apostolic Ministries in Clinton, Maryland. His vision was to create a ministry where “true love reaches beyond the walls.” His ministry focuses on reaching individuals with the message of Jesus Christ, equipping believers with spiritual growth, and teaching foundational biblical principles. Through his leadership, the ministry provides a welcoming and supportive environment where young people can develop their faith through relevant and practical biblical instruction.

Apostle Zimmerman has a pastor’s heart and is deeply committed to helping individuals build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be reconciled to the Kingdom of God. Throughout his years of ministry, he has served in numerous leadership roles, including Youth Pastor, Praise Team Leader, Associate Minister, Brotherhood President, and Youth President at both the local and state levels.

On January 20, 2018, Apostle Zimmerman was elevated to the office of Bishop at Bible Way Church. On June 8, 2024, he was affirmed to the office of Apostle. In September 2024, he was appointed Assistant Presiding Prelate of Converge International Fellowship under the leadership of Apostle Ronald L. Demery. On July 18, 2026, Apostle Zimmerman earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Constructive Theology and a Master’s Degree in Sacramental Theology from Acts of Grace Bible College and Theological Seminary.

In addition to his ministry work, Apostle Zimmerman is a devoted husband, father, and family man who values the balance between family life and church leadership. He met Lady Christian Zimmerman at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., while participating in a theater production. He and Lady Christian Zimmerman are the proud parents of four daughters: Dezirae, Charmaine, Erica, and Mia. Together, they actively serve in ministry and are committed to supporting the work of the Kingdom.
